ROC is Energy (un)cubed
It’s a simple equation really, ROC=E-³, or ROC (un)cubed, is a simple way to capture the three E’s; “Engage, Exchange, Evolve” and apply them in the workplace. By applying these three concepts as a first priority into the workplace environment at all of their unique signature locations, ROC has set a new standard of a desirable and productive workplace. Stoking the creative fire takes fuel, and our surroundings are important to creating and keeping the flow going throughout the day. It’s no big corporate secret that a happy mind is a productive one.
One hundred years ago Henry Ford is credited with perfecting the concept of the industrial revolution (as it relates to output) production and consistency with fine tuning the Assembly Line. Despite the fact that this method of work (manufacturing plant) is highly mechanized nowadays, even when comprised of human beings on the “line” it was anything but a collaborative environment, but Henry Ford knew a thing or two about the power of collective force (teamwork), great ideas (and a team of great people), and happy employees (double the pay, less hours than standard for 1914).
According to Wikipedia, Henry Ford cannot be credited alone with his perfecting of the assembly line process taking “7 years and plenty of intelligent men” to accomplish. This proves that even 100 years ago our capitalistic enterprise requires collaboration and teamwork, as well as a space for the pursuit of passion.
ROC was among the first on the corporate real estate industry to create, mold, and evolve the concept of an efficient workplace, and a major part of this relies upon the flexibility of space, providing both privacy and transparency for every type of industry professional. ROC also knows a thing or two about teamwork and by offering technical and administrative support (for all of the little things-like a bad electronics day) to help a person focus on their own business priorities.

Why is ROC (un)cubed?
As pointed out by Jeff Boss in a recent article for Entrepreneur there have been numerous studies showing that cubicles in the office space are actually detrimental to employee trust, morale, and lower levels of communication. So fittingly his article poses the question “-why is it that office cubicles continue being the go-to choice for the majority of offices?”
Fortunately, I don’t have the answer to that, ROC is doing something different. Namely creating an Evolved space where brilliant minds can Exchange ideas and resources and Engage not only with others in and outside of one’s professional field-but Engage opportunities with ROC’s very own resources, mentorship and alliance. If we ever needed a revolution, it would be a real estate revolution, dare I say, but starting with the corporate world, ROC has re-imagined, re-defined and evolved what was an archaic standard for the way we social humans work nowadays. I think even Henry Ford would not only approve of ROC, but likely take advantage of this type of space for himself and his team of “intelligent men”.
